Welcome to my Blog

This is my first post. It comes after months and months of my husband arguing that a) I need a blog and b) I should open a blog and c) I have something to say. Well don't tell him, but he was right. I do need a blog, I did open a blog, but the last point has yet to be proven. I may have something to say, but whether anyone cares is another matter. I will try to update as often as I can, but with a full time job, being a mom to a 16 month old, owning 2 English bulldogs and 1 cat and spending time with 1 husband, it may be more difficult to post as often as I like.
I will mostly post pictures and opinions of products I have purchased/tested/want/etc. I am an admitted blush hoor, taupe hoor and always in search of "the ultimate" skin care régime.
I have fair (MAC NC20) skin tone that works well with warm and cool colors. I have acne/clog prone, oily skin that is starting to show the first stages of aging around my eyes. My skin has become less oily on my cheeks as I get older and my T-zone seems to be the main oil slick on my face. That being said I am obsessed with eye creams, pore minimizers, oil control, moisturizers, acne care and makeup that masks all of those things I consider to be flaws on my face.
I adore Japanese makeup brands and have recently discovered some Korean makeup brands I like. I also adore Chanel and Guerlain Makeup but still like MAC and Bobbi Brown too. I lived my entire High school and College life using mostly Drugstore Makeup, and while I know some people have found some great items there I now have the money and opportunity to buy higher end makeup and do so. My only drugstore makeup now is Mascara and the occasional Carmindy foundation/blush and nail polish.
I used to chat on Makeupalley.com under DarthWolk user name. But MUA goes in cycles and right now it's not so much fun as it used to be. So now I spend time looking at other blogs for the latest news and information.
This should not be the blog you visit to get the latest and greatest info on upcoming collections. That's not my thing. But if you want to see pretty pictures and some comparisons of products this may be a place to check out from time to time.
