Thursday Poll

image from kissandmakeup.tv

Thursday Poll time once again. I always love reading everyone's answers. It's fun to hear about new ideas and products and makes me feel like this blog is a bit more interactive. So don't be shy. Take the poll. Even if you don't have a response to all the questions it's still fun to answer some of them.

Oh and don't forget to enter the giveaway for the Givenchy blush. Enter your name in the comments section under the original posting. I'll be picking and announcing a winner tomorrow!

On to the poll!

1) Lip Of The Day? - Chanel Sundress Glossimer. It's a bit too sheer for my lifeless colored lips but it's still glossy as heck and not sticky. One of these days I have to photograph all my glossimers for y'all!

2) One beauty product you recommend to ALL of your girlfriends? - Chanel Joues Contraste Blush. You pick the color but I must say this is my favorite formula of blush. I'm particularly fond of the European versions which are a bit more sheer.

3) Pick one of each combination: Toilet Paper - Over or Under?; Hot Drink - Coffee or Tea?; Computer - PC or MAC? My answers are: OVER, Tea, and PC however I really want a MAC.

4) What MU item have you gotten rid of, only to re-purchase or want it again? - Chanel Winter Nights eyeshadow Quad. I swapped it for some expensive foundation that I love and realized a year later that I miss it. Will I buy it again. Perhaps. I'm hoping for the feeling to repurchase to die out so I don't have to shell out the money....again.

5) My Birthday is next month. I have $150 to spend on anything I want. Should I spend it on a Mani & Pedi and Massage or buy Bond No. 9 New York The Scent Of Peace Perfume? AND. Do you buy yourself something extravagant or indulgent for your birthday?

  1. 1) Lip of the day
Bare, got up late and had no time to put on anything beside sunscreen.

    2) Stila #21 cheek and contour brush
It's as soft as puppy and works with many types of blushers.

    3)Toilet paper-under
Drink -green tea with jasmine (although I prefer gatorade)
    Computer-PC

    4)Lancome Juicy Tube in Orange
I didn't got rid of it myself, my friend kind of rob it from me when she saw it brand new( I just sniffed it once as I had way too many of them at the time)

5)Bond perfume, I can't imagine people rubbing my feet and getting paid...(I usually just eat my birthday away...)

  3. 1) MAC Lavender Whip & Funtabulous Dazzleglass.... I know a lot of people don't like it, but this color combo is awesome.

    2) I don't reccomend a specific product because my friends think my makeup obsession is insane, but I tend to stick with paint pots or e/s bases for recs.

3)TP - Either, as long as I can grab it in a moment of need. Tea! and PC, althought I know how to use a MAC.

4)I repurchased Benefit Skinny Jeans and it still doesn't work for me. I'm swapping it away.

    5) Personally I would do the massage/mani/pedi but you do b-day perfumes, so for you probably theperfume. And yes I do, because if I didn't I wouldn't own anything extravagant.

  4. 1) Lip Of The Day? - Clinique Long Wear Gloss in Steller Plum

    2) One beauty product you recommend to ALL of your girlfriends? - Soap & Glory body butter because of our cold climate.

    3) Pick one of each combination: Toilet Paper - Over; Hot Drink - Tea?; Computer - PC but I would like a MAC.

    4) What MU item have you gotten rid of, only to re-purchase or want it again? - Hmm I can't think of one actually, I don't think I have.

    5) My Birthday is next month. I have $150 to spend on anything I want. Should I spend it on a Mani & Pedi and Massage or buy Bond No. 9 New York The Scent Of Peace Perfume? The Bond No. 9 would be a true extravagance and worthy of a birthday gift.
Do you buy yourself something extravagant or indulgent for your birthday?

  5. 1) Lip Of The Day? - I'm still in bed even though I REALLY need to get moving. Meeting verybecca for a MAC date in 3 hours. And I live far. Oof. I'm not feeling well...=/ but my LOTD will probably be something sheer and shimmery. Maybe I'll do a Glossimer too.

    2) One beauty product you recommend to ALL of your girlfriends? - YSL Ombre Solo Effet eyeshadow in Mink Brown (perfect mauvey taupe). However does not own this NEEDS this.

    3) Pick one of each combination: Toilet Paper - Over or Under?; Hot Drink - Coffee or Tea?; Computer - PC or MAC? Over. Tea. MAC (but I own a PC =/ )

    4) What MU item have you gotten rid of, only to re-purchase or want it again? - None, actually. I'm good about that!

OK I vote the Bond. And yes, I always have INSANE birthday weeks/weekends. This year I'm seeing a movie the night before. Day of I work and then having dinner and dessert with DBF. The next day we're going to the Museum of Natural History, and either that night or the following Saturday we're going clubbing. As for my birthday present to myself this year, it's going to be: a small Fred Flare haul bc Lucky has a 35% code this month, a bottle of Ralph Lauren Notorious, and a Dolce and Gabbana haul =D I feel like everyone should always have extraordinary birthdays because we all need to be thankful for the fact that we're a year older and a year wiser, regardless of all the fucked up crazy shit that happens to us, and that will happen to us! Life is fleeting, so appreciate that shit. 2012 is coming soon! LMAO! =D

btw my word verification is larde. wtf is Google trying to tell me?!

  6. I vote for Bond, mani + pedi & massage all together cost less than $150 ($28 for mani + pedi, massages are generally $49 or more, although most places have specials). The Bond will last for years :)
