Thursday Poll

Requests. We make hundreds of them a day. Verbal requests like, “1 soy 1/2 caff toffee nut latte please” Or, “Hold the elevator please!” Other requests are non verbal. Like the look you give to the guy in the next lane as you signal and he speeds up so as to not let you in. (You know what you just asked him to do and I can’t print it here.) Or how about e-mails you send to friends? You are requesting their attention. Facebook requests count too. Like the one I sent to my bother well over a month ago and he has completely ignored it. Oh and the personal message I sent through Facebook asking him to accept my request, which he has ignored as well. Did I mention that my brother is friends with Mr. Sith? Yeah. My Niece and Nephew are friends with me on Facebook and NOT MY OWN BROTHER! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Me neither.

Today’s poll is going to be a little different. I want to know what you like to read, how often you visit and other things to help improve the Pink Sith Blog. It’s time to tell me what you think. Ask and you MAY receive. I like to cater to all my readers, but I may not be able to answer all requests or I might take something you say personally and put at my desk for a few minutes. You never know. My hormones are stable it’s not PMS time and I’m wearing comfortable clothes, so now is as good of a time as any to make a request. I’m likely to be in a good mood.

1) Do you like reading these polls? Do you like participate in the polls? Why or why not?

2) What do you like to read about most on the Pink Sith Blog? Makeup, Perfume, Skincare, Hair Care, Nail Polish, Body Care? All or None of the above?

3) Finish this sentence: "I think there have been too many posts about _________ and I would rather see more posts about _________."

4) Does it bother you if I review products that you might not have access to (i.e. discontinued items, items from overseas that you can’t buy where you live, etc.)? Would you rather I not review these types of products?

5) Is the layout of the blog easy to view, are the colors OK, do you find it confusing, do you wish I had a widget for _________?

6) How often do you visit The Pink Sith Blog? Daily, Weekly, Other? When you do visit, is it on a specific day or is it because you saw that I had a new post on another blog roll or other?

7) Any requests? (keep it clean folks!)

    1- i like reading the polls even when i don't participate. i love the questions you come up with!
    2- pretty much, i enjoy it all. you have a great mix and are never dull!
    3- can't finish it, i'm satisfied.
    4- i actually like it when you review stuff i can't access, for two reasons: first, because that way a LITTLE money stays in my wallet, and second, i am curious by nature and enjoy checking out new things even if vicariously.
    5- layout's great, the pink's a bit bright but everything is easy to read and navigate, that's just a personal pref.
    6- i visit almost daily to see what's hoppin'. i also enjoy using your sidebar to check out other beauty blogs and read more.

    I love the polls. I usually contribute but I love reading the questions and especially the lead up to the questions.

    2) What do you like to read about most on the Pink Sith Blog? Makeup, Perfume, Skincare, Hair Care, Nail Polish, Body Care? Pretty much all though I am not much of a perfume person.

    Everything is good. It usually kills lemmings.

    5) Is the layout of the blog easy to view, are the colors OK, do you find it confusing, do you wish I had a widget for _________?

    A bit bright but once my eyes adjust, it's fine. The only thing I don't like (and you better be sitting down)is the photo of the red lips! I don't know why but it should be more Sithian and less copyright free something. Plus the shades of red and pink clash.

    6) How often do you visit The Pink Sith Blog? Daily, Weekly, Other? When you do visit, is it on a specific day or is it because you saw that I had a new post on another blog roll or other?

    I almost always look at the Thursday Poll and once or twice a week if the topic is interesting. I usually click through Facebook.

    7) Any requests? (keep it clean folks!) Nothing I can think of at the moment. *washes mind out with soap*

    Truthfully, I visit your blog for your reviews, so I didn't pay much attention to your polls. But gradually I began to read it and I like it a lot! But I didn't participate (until now) because I don't know what to answer. ^^;

    2) What do you like to read about most on the Pink Sith Blog? Makeup, Perfume, Skincare, Hair Care, Nail Polish, Body Care? All or None of the above?

    Of course taupe eyeshadows. :D Oh well, I really like your makeup and skincare reviews, since that's what I'm into. I do like your body care, currently I'm loving the L'occitane body cream. I'm not much of a hair care or nail polish or person so I don't read those reviews much.

    I think you are fine the way you are, but I'll do it anyway.

    I think there have been too many posts about nail polish and I would rather see more posts about lip products.

    Because I'm not that big on nail polish. :D But I really don't mind.

    No, it doesn't bother me. I love your style in blogging so having you blog about anything is awesome for me.

    No, your blog is definitely user friendly. Your reviews are clear to read, that's what important to me. :D Although...do you have twitter? XD

  4. 1. I love reading the polls but this is the first time I've participated.

    2. I like all the stuff you write about =) Personally, I'm more interested in makeup & skin care but I like reading about perfume as I know nothing about it. Oh, i never read about nail polish b/c I never paint my nails.

    3. Too many posts about: TAUPE!! ha, j/k =P

    4. I don't mind reviews for LE items that are still available but I hate excellent reviews for HTF stuff, it makes me sad. I also don't read the reviews for stiff not available in the US, but I don't mind them either.

    5. I like your layout. I almost used this background on my blog =)

    6. I have your blog in my google reader, so I read it mostly everyday.

  7. 1. Love the polls! Please keep them, they're fun and interesting :) I participate, when I have time (probably every other poll).

    2. I love reading about everything listed. I personally enjoy a good variety of product reviews, w/ maybe 60% being makeup and the rest divided among the other categories listed. Does this make sense, lol?

    3. I think there have been too many posts about .... can't think of anything, sorry! I think everything is pretty well balanced, but I am a fellow taupe hoor so...

    4. I don't mind reviews of hard to find items (i.e. overseas brands) and I can take a dc'd item here and there (but it does make it difficult if it's lemming at first site). My only comment would be to break these up, intersperse the htf/dc'd reviews with reviews of items that are still available. It helps quell the depression over impossible lemmings ;)

    5. Layout is fine, colors are fine (though I love to switch things up once in awhile myself, just cuz).

    2. Makeup.
    3. Um.... too many about... skincare. Needs more about... makeup. I don't really care, though.
    4. No, I'm always interested in any kind of beauty products, even if I can't have them.
    5. It's very pink, which is a bit hard on the eyes sometimes.
    6. One every few days to see if there's anything new.
