Christian Dior an icon in the fashion industry is known for haute coture clothing, handbags, MAKEUP and perfume. Now it ventures into the world of contact Lenses?
John Galliano is taking designer branding to a new frontier: contact lenses that outline the iris in fine circles of sparkling gold or black. They will also contain a miniature CD logo. While many people use contact lenses to do mundane things like correct vision, some do use them to change eye color. "These innovative contact lenses don't change eye colours, but rather enhance them with a special technical process exclusive to Dior," said Safilens, the contact lens maker.
- Each pair lasts for a maximum of two months.
- The initials CD help identify whether the lens is the right way up.
- The lenses are available in a silver box with a sliding case and mirror.
So will YOU be sporting DESIGNER contact lenses this spring?
LMFAO! via oddee.com

Just when I think I've seen everything, something else comes along to amaze me! Come on these companies have found a way to put logos on everything, it was only a matter of time before they made their way onto your actual body parts!
ReplyDeleteI wear contacts and as much as I am a logo-loving girl, even I draw the line at advertising in my eyes. So errr no thank you Dior!
ReplyDeleteI'd heard about this before, CD had released some contacts but just with gold sparkly thingamagigs to enhance eye colour - no logo. I think it's a tad too much...anyway, I need my contacts for "mundane vision correcting reasons", LOL
ReplyDeleteI guess I really am a Dior hoor cuz I would get those in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeletewoaa...thats a little creepy...
ReplyDeletelenses? Jesus! Are they crazy? Looks stunning anyway, but dammit!
ReplyDeleteAt least it's not one of those circle lenses that make you look like a cursed doll...
ReplyDeleteI'd get them, I admit it.
ReplyDeleteare you like serious? guess creativity never ends.... perhaps the next thing will be a LV Fake Gold Tooth? monogram LV tooth? LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! This is priceless! How close do you have to get to someone to see they are wearing designer contacts?!
ReplyDeleteDo not want.
ReplyDeletethis has got to be the biggest WTF - for me!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...interesting look but not for me. I'm not a fan of coloured lenses in general & these look to Halloween like.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I'd like to say 'I'll spit in it's face', truth is I'd like nothing more than for ppl to gape at my eyes in wonder (disgust?) whilst I smirk to myself in contentment, happy in the knowledge that I am wearing CD contacts.
ReplyDelete...
*spits*
