Thursday Poll - by Joeybunny!

Hello everyone! I am so sorry I’ve been MIA lately; I have still yet to replace my broken camera, and doing picture-less blog posts isn’t fun. It really stinks because I miss blogging and I feel like I have some pretty things to show everyone. Oh well, Elvira let me have the Thursday Poll post so I can’t complain!

I’ve actually been in a makeup rut lately. Maybe it’s not a rut, but I have been stuck on the same colors lately. Just like Elvira has been all crazily obsessed with purple nail polish, I’ve been crazily obsessed with purple and pink eye shadows! From the MAC Crush Metal Pigment: Stacked 1 set, to the MAC Colour 3 eyeshadow quad, to my latest Fyrinnae haul, I have just been loving these colors. Cooler purples and pinks straddle the line between looking icy-cool for winter and looking colorful and springy. That’s nice, since the weather in New York City can’t make up its mind as to whether it should stay cold or start warming up. I also need to dig through my stash to see if I have any neglected shades in this color family - just this morning I found a L’Oreal HIP duo in Sculpted that I bought almost exactly a year ago, and it has the most gorgeous cool-toned mauve and deep shimmery purple colors. Where the hell has this eyeshadow been hiding? I think I’m long overdue for a stash evaluation.

So, on to the poll!

1)What color has dominated your makeup wardrobe and/or your face lately?: Like I said, I’ve been all about purples and pinks. I can’t remember the last time I wore a taupe eyeshadow, omg! I clearly need an intervention.

2) What item from any Spring collection have you been the most pleased with? What item has disappointed you the most?: I’m really enjoying my NARS Kuala Lumpur eyeshadow duo still, and I love the MAC Colour 3 eyeshadow quad. I’m not sure I’ve been disappointed with an item per se as much as I was disappointed with collections as a whole. Nothing really WOW-ed me so I am hoping that the upcoming Summer collections are much more exciting. So far, I’m anxiously awaiting Chanel Summer - I LOVE the Fluo glosses and will probably be purchasing both! Also, the new Paul and Joe eyeshadows need to hurry the hell up and come out already. I am also dying to try the MAC cream bronzers coming out. Oh, and I’m sure NARS Summer will be good.

3) What’s your favorite flavor of Girl Scout cookies?: I was talking about this with Elvira the other day. I live and die by Thin Mints, although Samoas are nice too. I swear, I wish I knew a Girl Scout. Or maybe I don’t, because I would be obese if I had a steady source of the damn cookies.

4) Can you believe it’s March already?: No, in all seriousness, I cannot be the only person who is amazed that it’s already March.

5) What are you currently lemming?: The standard lemming question, sorry! I only ask because I’m lemming something I’ve never really paid attention to before - MUFE (Make Up For Ever) eyeshadows. I’m lemming #92 (gorgeous matte deep bright purple), #127 (TAUPEEEEE!), #141 (shimmery mauve-pink), and Diamond eyeshadow #311 (shimmery reddish burgundy-brown). I have never really been into MUFE eyeshadows and now all of a sudden I want four of them! WTH?! I’m lemming Benefit Buckle Bunny Velvet eyeshadow and NARS Ondine eyeshadow, too. I did also play with the new Tarina Tarantino makeup and I was decently impressed by the eyeshadows. There are three I like...but I have to get over the terrible packaging first. Gosh, so tacky!

6) Looking back on the previous Pink Sith blog entries, is there any one item that Elvira or I reviewed that you’d love to get?: I have to admit I have bought *most* of the items that Elvira has reviewed that I have wanted, but there are a few things I haven’t that I would love to get a hold of. I really would love the Chanel Le Ligne celadon cake liner, especially!
