Color Club Wild At Heart

Back in 1990 David Lynch made a movie called Wild At Heart. Now David Lynch is master of the absolutely bizarre and creepy as far as movies go. His movies are almost pornographic in terms of exploiting relationships, backwards talking dwarfs, and character actors. (I embellish). Anyway. The movie Wild at heart is kinda like driving by a car accident. It's gruesome yet you can't look away.

What does this have to do with nail polish?

Nothing.

I just really like that movie and it just so happens that Color Club has a purple holographic nail polish called Wild At Heart. That's all.

Unlike David Lynch's movies, Color Club's Wild At Heart purple holographic nail polish is not gruesome....but you still can't look away.

This red based, deep purple polish has a faint holographic shine to it...I say faint b/c I think I am spoiled for all other holos since purchasing 2 Nfu-Oh holo polishes a while back. Regardless, this holo is nice, not chunky and gives a super 3-D effect. The rainbow nature of this holo is limited, however. I don't detect any green in the color spectrum, but I do see a lot of yellow, orange and red.

You can see there is some tip wear in the photo...that's my fault. I applied it a day before and I used a fast drying top coat which shrinks the polish. I also gave Darthypie a bath...which doesn't help matters. I have been wearing this polish since Friday night and it's still going strong with no chipping on Tuesday.

This Color Club purple holo is one of my favorites!

Do you NEED this? YES! If you love purple polishes and if you like holographic polishes. It's a keeper in my book.
