LASplash Nail Polish in Golden Seahorse

The other day, while running into Ulta to pick up a few essentials (Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, Seche Vite Top Coat, etc.) I had a few minutes before Mr. Sith was to come back so I took advantage of perusing the nail polishes. I found a tiny display at the end of a row for LASplash cosmetics. I was immediately drawn to the nail polish Bottles because they were unusual size and I like packaging as much as I like product. What can I say, I'm a sucker.

The think long glass bottles adorned with a brushed gold top caught my attention, but what really caught my attention was a nail polish called Golden Seahorse. The brush is somewhat thin but of decent quality and the wear on the polish is decent, for a glitter polish. I got 3 days with no chipping.

The misty sea foam blue green reminded me of the waters in Puerto Rico....the only Island I have ever been in the Caribbean...and the gold and silver glitter infused in the polish looked like the glistening sand in the surf. This was the color of warm water Caribbean waves. This was cool island breezes and palm trees rustling in the wind. This was a Pina Colada made with real coconut and fresh pineapple and authentic Perto Rican rum. This was a vacation in a bottle.

The polish applied surprisingly opaque and 2 coats was all I needed to get this look. The glitter was chunky, but settled well and a decent coat of Seche Vite made this LASplash polish shine like a brand new morning on the beach.

This polish retails for $3.99 at ULTA and right now ULTA is having a "buy 2 get 1 free" deal. What a perfect time to add some unique colors to your collection. Now I will tell you I purchased Violet Splash Which is a strictly glitter nail polish and it needs SEVERAL coats to become opaque, so I would not recommend if you just want a glitter nail b/c it will take forever to dry, but there are some unique and fun colors, and for only $3.99 you can't go wrong!

blurred to show the shimmery glitter....That's my story...it's not because my auto focus macro feature didn't work.
