The Lipstick League - week of 5.16.11

Question of the Week:
Which products would you confiscate from your 16 year old self’s makeup bag?!

Joeybunny's Answer: "For the most part, I had a pretty high end makeup stash when I was 16: NARS, Lancome, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Bobbi Brown filled my oversized Caboodle. However, what was embarrassing was the constant supply of Maybelline Great Lash mascara - my mom swore by it, and while it worked well for her (and still does!), it smudged and flaked to no end on me. Ugh!"

  1. I would have to say my biggest beauty sins at age 16 (in my defense) were the exact same ones everyone else in 1986 committted...frosty pink lips, lots of navy eyeliner, and BIG freakin' bangs cemented into place with aqua net cement! All 3 products would be confiscated today...and frankly, if I could, I'd ban them from the planet today, too.
