Blushes You Can't Have #9 Laneige Snow Bloom Blusher

Because of the evil nature of the Sith, we like to torture those around us.  Therefore the Pink Sith Blog has come up with a series of posts about BLUSHES YOU CAN'T HAVE!! There are imitators out there, but The Pink Sith Blog is the original sadistic series of blush and taupe shadows you wish you had but can't have because they are either discontinued or very hard to find.  Once a month we torture you, like your Aunt Flo, and make you realize that your makeup collection is seriously lacking, unlike your Aunt Flo.

Let's take a walk down memory lane.  In January we told you about Chanel Joues Contraste in Poesie; February was MAC powder blush in Afterdusk; March was Shu Uemura Sakura Glow-On; April was Inoui ID blush in PK-1,; May was Chanel Joues Contraste in Turbulent; June was Wet ‘n Wild blush in Naive; July was VOV Color Song Volume Blusher #03 Pink Red Mixing. Then in August it was Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pink Raspberry.  Today we have another treat from Korea!

Laneige Snow Bloom Blusher!

Laneige is a subsidiary of AmorePacific from Korea.  Great care is taken with the formulation of many AP products and the attention to detail for Laneige products is evident as well.

The blush is from the Laneige Spring Collection 2008: Snow Bloom.  The Laneige Snow Bloom Blusher consists of 5 shades that can be used together or individually.

a well loved and well used blush of mine..sorry for the lack of pristine condition pictures.

What makes this blush so special is NOT the fact that it is from Korea, Discontinued and Hard To Find...although that helps a whole lot when I am trying to torture you, it is the fact that this blush is so incredibly soft and the powder so finely milled, it's like applying tiny snow crystals to your cheek.

those "dents" in the surface are from a blush brush...this powder is VERY soft.

As you can see in the top and bottom strips of color they are infused with teeny tiny silver glitter.  When applied this glitter does not just sit on the surface of your skin, not. it slightly diffuses the whole look and melts into the background giving an air of shimmer and glow that you see on freshly fallen snow at twilight.  The top peach colored strips or bottom pink strips can be used alone with the white strip to highlight or you can make your blush brush dance across the entire palette in order to form a beautiful glowy peach pink cacophony of AWESOME.

You should rue the day that you didn't even know about this blush existing and you not purchasing it.
