The Lipstick League - week of 6.18.12

Question of the Week: - What's your current favorite hand cream?

Answer:- That' an excellent question.  Right now I am trying to find one. I would LOVE to hear your suggestions.  I am using the one from gud, but I'm not fond of the scent.

Lipglossiping - finds her new 'darling' in the form of Darling Diva's Space Beetle Nail Polish.

Nouveau Cheap - Can a $1 eyeshadow from the dollar store really deliver bold color and pigmentation...even without primer? Come find out!

Pink Sith - has pretty pink nails of steel thanks to the peptide infused nail lacquers from Dermelect Cosmeceuticals.

Prime Beauty - says all tinted moistuizers are NOT created equal. Keep from having a makeup meltdown this summer with  NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30.

Vampy Varnish - Kinda digs the new Benefit Ultra Plush Glosses.

we heart this - Are you one of the many that have pondered whether RevitaLash really works? See for yourself with the we heart this review complete with Before and After Photographs!

Beauty Junkies Unite - Did you know that Benefit is launching 6 new ULTRA PLUSH lip glosses next month that correspond with their famous box o' blushes? See the review, swatches, and comparisons of CORALista, Dallas, and Sugarbomb!

Clumps of Mascara - is giving away an epilator. Brace yourself for this one, gals...

EauMG  - It's officially summer! And if you're looking for a new summer fragrance to add to your wardrobe, you may be interested in this one by Atelier Cologne.

Gouldylox Reviews -  discovers the Good, the Bad and the Wet. Or really, just the good and the wet.

  3. I love love love OPI Avojuice! I am very picky when it comes to my hand creams i do not like anything greasy feeling, this hand cream absorbs nicely into the skin leaving them soft and smooth. my favourite it the Peach, and it smells delicious. I've been a big fan since high school because everything else I've tried doesn't meet my very high standards..
    good luck :)
    cheers
    ..love your stuff!!

  4. Aveda Hand Relief, hands down. (har-har!) it absorbs quickly but lasts a long while without feeling heavy. Scent is light and clean, doesn't clash with perfume etc. And a little goes a long way! My nails are looking much healthier and longer as well. Win!

  5. I love eucerin intense therapy hair repair! I have awful dry chapped hands in the winter and this is the only thing that doesn't irritate them and actually heals them!

  6. I love french brand L'occitane. Since I live in France, they are easy to find, super cute packaging, different fragances but all amazing. It does not leave my hand greasy afterwards and if i skip it for a couple of day, i can tell the differnce.

I don't know if you can get it in the US, i know you can in the UK but they are a bit more pricey there.

  7. I'm a hand cream junkie! My favorites are Jack Black Hand Healer, Yube cream, Fresh Seaberry Body Cream, Caudalie, and Clarins.

  8. I *love* hand cream, I have like four different ones on my desk at home and three at work. My top three are Clarins Hand and Nail cream (expensive but worth every penny), Bliss High Intensity hand cream (less expensive than the Clarins and comes in handy travel tubes), and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (unscented and fantastic).

I use the FAB cream at work because it's unscented and won't bother co-workers, and the Clarins at home because the scent is on the stronger side (but it's my fave cream).
