I'm a pretty special Sith. I'll tell you why. You know how I'm a fan of gadgets, I have oily skin and I prefer to use talc-free face powders, right? Well, Lise Watier managed to combine these three aspects about ME and create the most ingenious and perfect face powder ever! It's called Mineral Compact Powder and they made it all for ME!
Lise Watier created this powder a long time ago?
In fact, I had nothing to do with it?
Are you sure?
So I guess MY likes and dislikes don't count when a major cosmetic company is creating products before I even know the company exists. I see how it is. Fine. I won't go on about the Lise Watier Mineral Compact Powder that is TALC free and PARABEN free and all that good stuff.
I won't talk about how this powder contains a separate little plastic sleeve that contains freakin BLOTTING PAPERS so I can blot off excess oil and shine BEFORE I apply the mineral powder. That's right. You heard me. Blotting papers inside the compact so that you don't have to fumble with finding both in your purse.
I'm totally not going to talk about the convenience of having both blotting papers and powder in one compact. After all. Lise Watier developed this product before I even knew they existed. HOW DARE THEY!? And by "How dare they?" I mean, How dare they create the idea product for me and then, even though they didn't know I existed, not tell me about it! Right? The nerve!
I'm certainly am NOT going to tell them how awesome I think it is. I'm not going to tell them how nice it is to have the ability to order refills on the blotting paper directly from their website. And why should I?
Nope. I won't talk about how the mineral powder provides a nice almost pristine matte finish when used over foundation. I also won't mention that the powder provides a delicate translucent coverage when used alone. I won't mention how the powder is specially formulated with tourmaline, Vitamins A and E, and chamomile extract so that it mattifies, corrects and evens my skin for a velvety and natural finish. No sense in talking about how nice the powder feels on the face. How it doesn't feel drying or heavy. Why should I? It's not like they even ASKED ME!
It's also not like they even consulted with me about the fact that the powder comes in 6 different shades from fair to fairly dark. Even if I do think it's cool that they have a good range of shades. I'm not going to let Lise Watier know that!
Totally insulted that a cosmetics company created a product I think is completely cool, that actually works and is easy to use without even asking if I needed something like that in my life. They treat me like...like...a CONSUMER! Ugh! The gall!
I am a consumer?
I should be happy that I finally found a powder product that will cut down on the clutter in my purse, that works, looks good and doesn't make me break out?
Well, sure! When you put it THAT way I guess you're right.
But don't tell Lise Watier I think so. They might start creating other products that I think are awesome like a light up lip gloss or something.
What? Already done?
Those little devils. What will they think of next?
The Lise Watier Mineral Compact Powder retails for $35 USD and the refill of 30 blotting papers is $8.50. You can purchase directly from www.lisewatier.us and now they take PayPal in addition to credit cards.
