Skinfood Party Tox Nail Line in #05 Seaweed Party is quite a mouth full. I prefer to call in "Pretty Sparkly". Bu so as to not confuse you all I'll call it. Skin Food Seaweed Party. Are we all OK with that? Good. Moving on.
If you're like me, when you see a nail polish post the main things you look at are the pictures. You will probably find out the name and price of the nail polish and then you will also look for a place to purchase it. I think the last thing people read is the actual text between the nail polish pictures.
So let me put all the info up front and then I can use various words to make up the filler in between the pictures. I purchased this from eBay. A seller called rubyruby76 sells almost all of the colors. I decided on just one color since it was priced at $7.99 each. There are other sellers on eBay for this nail polish line. The color is a blue based hot pink-red. It has gorgeous iridescent glitter dispersed in the polish to give a look like little gems are swimming on your nails. I like the blue and gold touches the glitter gives when the light hits them just right. The bottle is on the small side but there's plenty in there for multiple manicures. My nail polish (applied with a base coat of CND Stickey and top coat of CND Speedy) lasted 5 days with no chipping and minimal tip wear. All in all, I was very satisfied with the nail polish and I would purchase more.
On to the pictures!
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, "a word to mean a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust, causing inflammation in the lungs. A condition meeting the word's definition is normally called silicosis. It is best know as being a very long word. The 45-letter word was coined to serve as the longest English word and is the longest word ever to appear in an English language dictionary. It is listed in the current edition of several dictionaries.
Antidisestablishmentarianism is a political position that originated in 19th-century Britain in opposition to proposals for the disestablishment of the Church of England. That is the act to remove the Anglican Church's status as the state church of England, Ireland, and Wales. The word is known in the English language because of its unusual length of 28 letters and 12 syllables. It is one of the longest words in the English language. It is commonly thought to be the longest word in English found in major dictionaries, excluding coined and technical terms.
Floccinaucinihilipilification is apparently a satirical word created by those blue blooded scamps at Eton. Basically the word was inspired by a line in the Eton Latin Grammar that listed verbs that govern a genitive noun: "Flocci, nauci, nihili, pili, assis, hujus, teruncii, his verbis, aestimo, pendo, facio, peculiariter adduntur." Latin flocci, from floccus, a wisp or piece of wool + nauci, from naucum, a trifle + nihili, from the Latin pronoun, nihil ("nothing") + pili, from pilus, a hair, something insignificant (all therefore having the sense of "pettiness" or "nothing") + -fication. floccinaucinihilipilification (uncountable). Roughly translated it means: The act or habit of describing or regarding something as unimportant, of having no value or being worthless. It is also oft cited as the longest non-technical word in the English language, being one letter longer than the commonly-cited antidisestablishmentarianism.
Do you NEED this? Well if this is your type of color, I say go for it! I'm not really partial to pinks/reds but something about the iridescent glitter in this polish really sold me. I love it!
