You stole basketball, stealing curling was really the least we could do, eh?! I agree with you about the Maybelline quads - I saw them all at my (Canadian) drugstore looking all pretty and shiny so I had to stick my fingers in and play. Colour looked nice in the pan but less so on my hand and there was powder flaking everywhere! I gave these a pass on buying(even though I could if I wanted, cause I'm in Canada, eh?!)

FWIW, I just saw this Maybelline e/s quad last week ... *almost* bought Taupe Temptress, but talked myself out of it (I really only liked the taupe shade LOL, and really, for $10, I wanted more than just one shade to love).

I AM a senior citizen and I laughed my head off. Your blog is like no other. Wierdly, NY magazine recently did a sort of consumer comparison feature and compared this (or some similar Maybelline quad) favorably to a D&G shadow quad. A Sonia Kashuk quad lost in that running. But I'm much more inclined to believe Elvira on the topic of taupe eyeshadow, not NY magazine.

There're way too many products you have it the US and we don't, so once in a while, we can brag about what we have, right? It's interesting that Maybelline does this though.

Regarding curling, you guys don't play it anymore, so we do, lol. We are nice people, don't steal :-)

Smudge liners are one of the most popular products at Annabelle. Glad you like them. The company doesn't cross the borders in stores yet, but they do phone orders for the US, if you are interested.
