I ADORE that film! And I completely agree about the ridiculousness of 'classing up' a brand by choosing a foreign name that makes no sense in the actual language! Don't they realise that we exist in a global community and that magazines, blogs etc are read by people of various nationalities and mother tongues? Of course, if this brand is American then it makes a bit of sense as the US can often be guilty of a very isolationist view. I say this as an expat American who when she visits her home state of NH is treated as if she has moved to the moon and is asked (no lie) whether England uses the dollar too!

LMFAO!!!!!!! I love when "Imitation French" makes no sense. It's seems like it would be something like "Your Seen" so perhaps they were trying for "Your Look" but Vu is seen and look is chercher so that doesn't seem to make sense. I suck at French grammar so the 2 words together might negate any definition at all. :-D I love that you got so fired up about it.
