Fresh Sugar Coral Lip Treatment - Review, Pictures, Swatches

Neighbor:  "Hey Elvira! Whachooooo dooooin?"

Me:  "Oh Nothin'  Just wearing my super awesome Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Coral."

Neighbor:  "Oh Em Gee! Is that the new one that is on trend with the Tangerine Lips this summer?"

Me:  "Yes. It is sort of a peachy coral.  Wait a second. Did you really just say Oh Em Gee?"

Neighbor:  "What?"

Me:  "Did you really just speak Internet speak out loud?"

Neighbor:  "I don't know, El Oh El. So is it super moisturizing and all that?"

Me:  "You just did it again!"

Neighbor:  "Did what?"

Me:  "Actually verbalize Internet speak like the letters L-O-L!"

Neighbor:  "I did?  Double You Eee. Is it super moisturizing?"

Me:  "Yes. It is super moisturizing and incredibly pigmented too. AND You did speak the letters L-O-L and W-E!"

Neighbor:  "Huh? Like, does it stain your lips slightly? Does it feel balmy like the other awesome Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments?"

Me:  "Like?  You just started your sentence with the word 'Like'."

Neighbor:  "So?"

Me:  "So. I didn't think people actually spoke like that in real life."

Neighbor:  "You just said 'Like' too! So The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Coral, it's like, awesome, right?"

Me:  "Yes. It is awesome. It even leaves a bit of stain on your lips so when it wears off you still have a touch of color.  But I was using the word 'Like' in the proper context."

Neighbor:  "Sweet!"

Me:  "What?"

Neighbor:  "Sweet!"

Me:  "Yes. it does have the distinctive lemony sweet flavor that all Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments have."

Neighbor:  "Huh?"

Me:  "I said It has the...Oh never mind."

Neighbor:  "Where did ya get it?"

Me:  "Sephora.com. It cost twenty two dollars and fifty cents. Mind you, that's on par with some other high end brand sheer lipsticks, but The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Coral is actually good for your lips."

Neighbor:  "I don't mind. Why would you think I mind?"

Me:  "What?"

Neighbor:  "I said I don't mind that it is in a park with other lipsticks."

Me:  "In a park? No 'On Par'. Equal to or on the same level."

Neighbor:  "Oh. I thought that was only in golf."

Me:  "..."

Neighbor:  "What?"

Me:  "Nothing."

Neighbor:  "Do I need it?"

Me:  "Yes. You need The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Coral. You also might want to get a dictionary too."

Neighbor:  "Do they sell those at Sephora?"

Me:  "Dictionaries?

Neighbor:  "Yeah."

Me:  "You're strange."

Neighbor:  "Oh?"

Me:  "Yeah."

  2. The color is very pretty on you, Sith, and pretty period. sadly, this is a trend I cannot do, as my teeth have not the glaring whiteness to carry off orange tones-- YET. I do love the fresh balms, though, since I got to try them with my free birthday gift from Sephora's Beauty Insider program-- if you haven't signed up yet, do it. this year it's two mini Fresh balms, one clear, one rose.

I want that Plum tinted one, badly. It will be my last big makeup purchase for the year, I think, I've gone a little overboard already.

    Peace, Mari

    1. I, too, have difficulty with pulling of this sort of color... It is pretty, though. I just don't have the right coloring for it. Thank you, Mari, for the heads up on the BI birthday gift; I will definitely be picking it up (soon).

By the way, Elvira, I really love your blog, especially these "dialogues". Your humor is so "on par" (pun intended) with mine.

    1. Humm. Good question. My lips are very light and un-pigmented. It might not show up as well on more pigmented lips. :-(

  11. This looks like sort of a soft PINKY coral, which would be flattering on most everyone, yay :)I thought it'd be too orange, but now I think it'd be just right!

PS--Mari, the plum one is my favorite in the winter, gives my lips some much-needed plummy color while helping out with the perpetual state of winter dryness they suffer from :)

  12. Does this come in the mini size at all, either by itself or in a set? I adore the mini sizes and carry them around in my purse all the time!

    1. Sadly no mini size yet. You never know, they might release one eventually!

  13. Ah. I feel like I need this. Looks incredibly juicy and the colour is just what I need for summer (I'm not able to get 'sunkissed' look, just violently 'sun abused' and that doesn't really work). Do they ship overseas?
