Top 10 Tuesdays - Top 10 Beauty Products for Summer

Top 10 Tuesday

I have joined a group of bloggers that will be participating in a Top 10 list post every other Tuesday.  This week we are listing our top 10 products for summer.  Not all of us have 10 products, but there will be a bevy of items for you review and maybe even be inspired to create your own top 10 list.

Top 10 Summer Essentials
So without further ado..here is my top 10 list for Summer:

#1
NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Paris Follies - This warm coral pink just makes me happy! I describe my PERFECT Summer lip gloss to you HERE.

#2
Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens - The green tea is unscented and I'm not sure how effective it is, but I do know that these are my favorite blotting linens because they take away the oil and leave my makeup behind!

#3
Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner - This is my all time favorite liquid liner. Consistently making my Top 10 lists. This workhorse liquid liner will stay on all day through sun, sweat, sea and pool! You can read my review HERE.

#4
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray - This stuff is like hairspray for your face, but it won't buildup or cause breakouts! This spray keeps you from melting down when it's melting outside!

#5
Lancome Dual Finish Powder Foundation - For us oily skinned gals, liquid foundation is not always our friend in the summer heat. Powder foundation is the way to go when you want coverage but nothing too heavy. You can read more about my love for this powder foundation from Lancome HERE.

#6
Mattify Cosmetics Ultra Mattify Powder - Another regular on my Top 10 lists. Mattify Cosmetics makes a bevy of powder primers and foundations that will lee oil at bay for a good part of the day.  Remember to use it as a primer after Moisturizing and sunscreen and then on top as a finishing powder. You'll be oil free and matte for hours. You can read more about Mattiy Cosmetics Ultra Mattify Powder   HERE.

#7
Clinique Happy Heart EdT - While I understand that fragrance is a very personal choice, I really don't feel like it's Summer if I don't catch light whiffs of this white floral with citrus notes.  You can read my review for Clinique Happy Heart HERE.

#8
Sunscreen!! Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 for face, Supergoop! Sunscreen Mist with Vitamin C SPF 50 for Body, and Nivea A Kiss of Protection SPF 30 Lip Balm - Because you just can't have ONE sunscreen. I love me some sun protection!  How else can I maintain the porcelain complexion if I don't cover up?  The Elta MD Sunscreen is perfect for oily skinned gals as it dries matte with little to no white cast.  You can read my review HERE.  The Supergoop! Sunscreen Mist with vitamin C keeps you protected with an oil free non sticky finish and the Vitamin C adds some anti-aging properties to your sun protection.  Last but not least, people forget sun protection for lips. Nivea a Kiss of Protection with SPF 30 is a super way to keep your pucker from being burned. If you have ever had sunburned lips you know it's not an experience you want to repeat!

#9
Anastasia Lash Genius Waterproof Mascara Top Coat - Love your current Mascara but it's just not waterproof? This wonderful product from Anastasia will turn any mascara waterproof in an instant. I have yet to review this, but I promise to review it soon.  This is a staple in my makeup collection and has saved me from mascara meltdown on many a days.

#10
Leonor Greyl Huile de Palme hair oil - Not only does this hair oil smell delicious, it's good for your hair and protects it from UV damage. Applied to hair before sun exposure, going to the pool or beach, this water soluble oil protects and conditions the hair in a jiff. You can read my review of the Leonor Greyl Huile de Palme HERE.

  1. Need to check out those oil blotting wipes! I hate looking at myself at school and seeing a once-matte forehead looking shiny.

  5. I see we both have Lash Genius on our lists. Amazing stuff! I used to wear Happy Heart years ago! It is such a fresh scent!!! I had to stop wearing it though when my Mother-in-Law started wearing it too. Then my Hub kept telling me that I smelled like his Mom, lol!!!

  11. So much UD! I love it! I think a great facial bronzer is one of my summer essentials, and I really love the NYC Sunny bronzer. It's $3 and it isn't too dark or too orange, so I can use it before I even a summer tan!
